The scholarship links below are opportunities for students to explore. Some of them are local organizations, and some are not. We ask all students to be aware of the sites they visit, as these are not all vetted by our school district.

The Studentscholarships.org website is a listing of several scholarships that may be available to you. Please be sure to check each one for eligibility requirements.

Did you know that students who graduate in the top 10% of their class may qualify for the NYS Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program?
This program covers the cost of tuition for students pursuing a STEM degree at a SUNY or CUNY school.
To qualify:
- Graduate in the top 10% of your NYS high school class
- Pursue a STEM degree at SUNY or CUNY
- Apply after graduation and before your first college semester
Deadline: August 15, 2026

The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation awards over $2 million annually in scholarships to students pursuing higher education, job training, and certification programs.
All applications are reviewed by volunteers and approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

This scholarship is available to Falconer seniors planning to pursue an engineering-related field through a vocational school, college, or university. Preference will be given to students with interests in automobiles, diesel technology, small engine repair, RC planes, or other hands-on/mechanical activities. Requirements include:
- Minimum GPA of 75%
- Letter of recommendation
- One-page essay outlining college goals and future plans

Jamestown Juneteenth Freedom Scholarship
This scholarship is available to:
- Black graduating high school seniors
- Residents of Southern Chautauqua County
- Students pursuing higher education through college, trade school, apprenticeship, or certificate programs
Application requirements include:
- Completed application form
- Copy of enrollment verification or college/trade school acceptance letter
- A personal response (minimum 250 words) answering the question:
“What does freedom mean or look like to you?”
Applications are due by Monday, June 1, 2026, and may be submitted to the Guidance Office or emailed directly to:

William C. “Bill” Young Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available to:
- Graduating seniors involved in wrestling
- Students pursuing careers in construction, electrical work, plumbing, or related trades through college or trade school
