Please check Schoology for daily homework assignments
Homework is a very important component in ensuring student success. Each student is expected to spend some time in addition to scheduled class instruction to achieve satisfactory work. Some assignments are long-range in nature and require planned study time for their completion. Planned study eliminates the necessity of spending too much time completing the assignment the day before it is due.
**Grading for projects and interdisciplinary units is handled differently at the teacher's discretion.
Grades 6-8: Three and six-week slips will be sent home with students for parents to review. Only those students failing will require parental notification at the three-week mark. At the six-week mark, all students will receive progress reports. Eligibility reporting dates will coordinate with progress reporting dates and will be posted on the school calendar and web page. Grades 6, 7, and 8 send progress reports home every three weeks which require a parent's signature.
Grades 9-12: Progress reports are available on the school website through the Parent Portal.
All weighting will be discussed and approved by department leaders and administration. Efforts will be made to keep as consistent a policy as possible within each department.
