Ride/Roll to School Days Start April 16th!

We are excited to start our Spring Ride/Roll to School days on Thursday, April 16.  We will ride on Thursdays weekly (Fridays are the rain date).  We meet at Falconer Park just before 7 a.m., so we are ready to roll at 7:05 a.m.  We ride through the Village and meet more walkers, scooters, and riders who prefer a shorter ride at the parking lot behind Burger King.  Then at 7:15 a.m., we ride together down Falconer Street to the Middle/High School.  Anyone on any type of wheels must wear a helmet.  We do ride in the road as a group, but students may choose to ride on the sidewalks.  Walkers stay on the sidewalks.  Please be sure to clearly communicate with your child about how they are to get home at the end of the day.  If rain is forecasted for the morning, we will cancel on ParentSquare and plan to ride the next day (Friday) if the weather clears.  Please be sure to check your gear before the first ride -- tires full, brakes working, seat set at the right height, and helmet fits.  Backpacks should be manageable for riding a bike, with no loose items.
