Minimizing distractions during the school day will help create a better learning environment for all students. This spring, Governor Kathy Hochul signed the “Bell-to-Bell” Cellphone Ban into law as part of New York State’s new Distraction-Free School Law.

Testing Information

Testing in New York State Schools

New York State requires mandated testing in grades 3 through 12. Among the pages in this section, schedules of state testing can be accessed. If you have any questions regarding any of the tests required by your student's grade level, please contact your child's Building Principal or School Counselor.

  • SAT

    2025-2026 SAT Information

  • SAT School Day 2025

    SAT School Day is a program where Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity to take the SAT exam during the regular school day. This initiative aims to make the SAT more accessible. The SAT will be offered at Falconer on Thursday, October 9, 2025. Please see your School Counselor for additional details.

  • PSAT/NMSQT

    The 2025 PSAT/NMSQT (Digital) will take place on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Starting @ 8:00 am in the Falconer Central School Gymnasium. The cost is $18.00 to register. Checks should be made payable to Falconer Central School. Please pay Mrs. Schimek in the Guidance Office.

  • ACT

    2025-2026 ACT Information

  • ASVAB

    The 2026 ASVAB will take place on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Starting @ 8:00 am in the Media Center followed by a career workshop. Please register with your School Counselor.

  • NYS Regents (Past Exams)

    Previous regents exams are available here. They serve as great resources which may be utilized to practice for upcoming regents.
